There are many lessons we can observe from the life of Queen Elizabeth II, but there are six (6) lessons entrepreneurs can learn from Queen Elizabeth II to super charge business and life. The Six D’s Plus a Bonus

Duty – The righteous four-letter word means: moral or legal obligation or responsibility; task or action someone is required to perform; allegiance, loyalty. With the recent passing of Queen Elizabeth II, duty is the word most commonly used to describe her service and her sense of purpose.

Devotion – Putting distractions aside to focus on your mission, goals, objectives and make them the priority of your actions.

Dignity – Despite pressures, challenges, and even opposition, carrying oneself with dignity and grace goes a long way to enhance your character and stature among others. Being able to control oneself is a true and enduring virtue.

Diligence – When we are diligent, we are careful to pay attention to details and to cover our bases. We understand that our competitive advantage is always in the details.

Dedication – Having a strong sense of purpose that reinforces your commitment to follow through with a task instills a mindset that is resolute to remain dedicated.

Destiny – Understanding that each one has a unique journey in life, we become more mindful about our destiny and fulfilling our purpose. As entrepreneurs, having a sense of your destiny provides a clear perspective on the value you bring and why it is important to remain steadfast, undeterred, and super charged!

BONUS Word: Discretion – Queen Elizabeth was a master at being discrete and not revealing everything she thought or felt. Discretion helps to reduce friction and allows us to be more observant and successful in our dealings with others.
